Redjina
After Redjina’s father passed away - along with her house and all her belongings - in the earthquake of 2010, Redjina came to live with us. Now, Redjina loves school, and wants to grow up to be a pediatrician with her own clinic. She works very hard in school to make this dream a reality.
Shakespeare never knew Redjina, but when he wrote “though she be but little, she is fierce,” he could have been talking about her! This adorable, bright-eyed, raspy-voiced young girl is the house organizer. Even though she’s younger than many of the other kids, she rallies the troops with a smile, directing them like the leader she is.
Most of her free time is spent riding a bike, playing dominos or playing soccer. It’s a pleasure to see her blossom and hear her boisterous voice throughout the hallways. We love our darling Redjina!
