Provide housing, food and education to impoverished children in Haiti

Haiti is in crisis with 60% of Haitian children living in extreme poverty. These children are hungry, undereducated and many have been abandoned. Want to help? We urgently need to move our children’s home for abandoned and orphaned children to a safer area.

Your Donations in Action

It's been a very busy year and we have a lot of exciting updates on the construction progress on the new children's home and the expansion of the school

    • Bedrooms for 24 kids and group bathrooms are complete and the kids have moved in.

    • Also finished well, septic and solar

    • REMAINING: kitchen & common area (waiting for supply costs to normalize)

    • Built new classrooms and added capacity for 100 new students

    • Added 4 new grades for a total of 9 grades since 2019

    • COMING SOON: add classrooms for remaining 4 grades so we can ensure continuity of education from grades 1-12

Since 2010, Vertile Foundation has provided a loving home for abandoned children. In 2019 we opened a school to reach more children. With an education, it’s virtually impossible to break out of poverty. Watch this short video to learn about what we do.

Kids in Haiti

Children born into poverty are hungry, don’t go to school and lack a stable home. Without an education, breaking out of poverty is virtually impossible and these children are destined to live out their days struggling to meet basic needs.
